Quality & Inspection Services
Shipment-specific pre-shipment inspection, batch sampling, packaging integrity review, and container loading supervision.
Purpose & Overview
Quality & Inspection Services provide transaction-specific physical verification of goods prior to export dispatch. Field teams perform pre-shipment inspections, drawing representative samples according to agreed standards, auditing packaging and labeling, and supervising container loading and sealing.
Suitable Use Cases
Scope to Agree
- Inspection timing: during production (DUPRO), pre-shipment inspection (PSI), or container loading supervision (CLS).
- Sampling methodology and standard (e.g. ISO 2859-1 / ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 / AQL sampling tables).
- Specific physical checks (dimensions, weight verification, moisture content, visual defects, packaging drop test).
- Container seal verification, photographic evidence protocol, and temperature monitoring where applicable.
⚠️ Scope Boundaries & Contractual Role
Inspection findings reflect the condition of inspected sample lots and containers at the time of observation under the agreed protocol. Commissioning a standalone quality inspection on a direct marketplace order does not turn Exportica into the seller of the goods. Official seals link the physical container to the evidence record; sealing does not claim immunity from illicit tampering, nor does one sample mathematically guarantee the entire historical production volume. No universal quality guarantees or specific unapproved laboratory nominations are made.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a container seal guarantee zero tampering during international transit?
Official bolt and security seals link the container to the inspection record at the point of origin loading. While seals indicate whether a container was opened, they cannot physically prevent tampering if intercepted.
Can this inspection service be booked for direct marketplace transactions?
Yes. Standalone quality inspection can be booked to verify any direct purchase with an Egyptian exporter without requiring Exportica-Managed Sourcing.
